Las Vegas is truly like no other place—bright lights, endless energy, and something exciting around every corner. Whether you’re here for the amazing food, big shows, or just to soak up the vibes, this city has a way of turning any trip into a story worth telling… unless of course, you want what happens in Vegas to stay in Vegas. In any case, we’re happy to share our favorite food and drink spots, activities, and hotels, to hopefully make your planning a breeze.

The food and drink in Las Vegas is incredible, and we can’t wait to go back and try more. Here are our favorites so far:

  • Café Lola: Super cute spot, great for breakfast, lunch, and coffee.
  • Eggslut: The egg sandwiches here alone are worth a trip to Vegas. Expect a long line to order at the counter, but it moves pretty fast!
  • Vanderpump à Paris: Lisa Vanderpump does not skimp on decor, and we absolutely loved the brunch here!
  • In-N-Out Burger: Perfect for a hangover, or anyone looking for a quick burger, In-N-Out Burger is just so good.
  • Bavette’s: We both absolutely loved our dinner at Bavette’s. Incredible steak house, and the vibes and the sides are just as good!
  • Carbone: This Italian restaurant is a harder one to get a reservation at (so try early!), but we felt Carbone truly lived up to the hype! Let your server help you choose, and don’t miss their iconic spicy rigatoni.
  • Toca Madera: Think, incredible Mexican, steak, drinks, and even fire performers! We absolutely loved it here.
  • Cathedral: The decor walking into this restaurant had us sold, and the Mediterranean food and drinks did not disappoint!
  • Bardot: This restaurant transports you to France. We just went here for champagne, but we’d love to return for a proper meal!
  • Vanderpump Cocktail Garden: Again, Lisa Vanderpump does decor right. Be sure to check out this place for vibes + cocktails!
  • Cosmopolitan Chandelier Bar: This one is worth a trip just to see the multi-story chandelier!

Las Vegas truly has something for everyone, whether you’re visiting with your group of girlfriends, (or a boys trip), family, or a significant other. We found the following to be the crowd pleasers:

  • Stadium Swim: This new expansive swimming pool is perfect for everyone – think (lower key) pool party vibes plus enormous screens for the sports fans.
  • Catch a show at the Sphere: We were blown away by the Postcard from Earth show at the Sphere. Add this to your itinerary when you visit
  • Hotel hop to see all the decor: The decor is so fun, and we loved just walking through the strip to see the interiors of each of the hotels! Don’t miss the Venetian, Paris, and the Bellagio!
  • Dance it up at a pool party: What’s more Vegas than these?!
  • Try your luck at the tables / slot machines: This is another “when in Rome” thing for us, but we enjoyed getting in on the fun. FYI, there are casinos everywhere, but if the smell of cigarette smoke bothers you, check out Park MGM.
  • Enjoy an evening shows: There are TONs of options, from Celine Dion, to Cirque du Soleil, to Thunder from Down Under. You do you. 🙂

Generally, we recommend staying on the strip. But here are our specific recommendations:

  • The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas: This one is great for a girls trip!
  • Paris Las Vegas: This one is a bit older, but a great budget-friendly option.
  • Bellagio: We haven’t stayed here yet, but it’s beautiful, including its pool area!
  • Park MGM: We haven’t stayed here yet either, but it’s made our list solely based on having a smoke-free casino. 🙂

Thank you for visiting our site! We may make commission off hotel affiliate links (at no further cost to you), but we would never recommend a place we don’t genuinely want to recommend.
