A Perfect Day of Dining in Kennebunk and Kennebunkport: From Lunch to Dessert

Kennebunk and Kennebunkport are charming coastal towns located next to each other in southern Maine, known for there picturesque beaches, delicious seafood, and quaint downtown area. Lunch Spots

The Clam Shack: Known for their lobster rolls and fried clams, this is a popular spot for a classic Maine experience. The line starts early and builds up quickly, so get there early to avoid the wait.

The Spirit Restaurant: This 125-foot schooner offers a unique and fun dining experience in the summer. Enjoy fresh seafood and delicious cocktails at this floating restaurant. 

Boathouse Restaurant: Enjoy waterfront views of the Kennebunk River on their large deck during the summer for a relaxing lunch. 

Batson River Brewing & Distilling: With multiple locations in Maine, the Kennebunk location is located near Kennebunkport’s Dock Square and offers outdoor seating that is great for people watching in the summer.

The Tides Beach Club: We love this spot for the location on Goose Rocks Beach. A great place for lunch, drinks, or apps.

Dinner Destinations

Earth at Hidden Pond: An upscale restaurant at Hidden Pond Resort that specializes in farm-to-fork dishes. Be sure to make a reservation in advance and arrive early to enjoy the property. If you are going with a group, look into the private dining options with charming décor.

White Barn Inn Restaurant: Perfect for a special occasion, White Barn Inn Restaurant provides a memorable fine dining experience with a fixed-price tasting menu. If you’re looking for something more casual, try Little Barn at White Barn Inn.

Rosella Sushi KPT: If you are an adventurous eater and enjoy sushi, this is a must-visit! They prioritize ethically sourced sushi through sustainable farming and fishing practices and the result is delicious and unique sushi.

Via Sophia By the Sea: An Italian restaurant located in the heart of Lower Village Kennebunk. Open year-round, this restaurant offers classic favorites, a big cocktail menu, and beautiful decor.

Chez Rosa: A bistro setting with a french inspired menu, this is can’t miss in Kennebunkport. We had an incredible meal here and it is one of our favorites.

Wandby Landing: Offering incredible food, service, and decor, this is one of our favorite spots for date night in Kennebunk.
